About Jim Santoro

Jim Santoro started his career in the pest control industry in 1969 and earned his first state license in 1970. It was his Branch 2 General Pest Control license. Shortly after he earned his Branch 3 Wood Destroying Pest and Organsisms and his Branch 1 for Fumigation. In 1979, Jim opened Safeguard Pest Control and earned his operator’s license in Branches 2 and 3. He also earned his agricultural licenses in categories A (Residential), B (Landscape Maintenance), and C (Right of Way). Jim has spent over 45 years servicing the people of Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, El Dorado, and portions of Alpine, San Joaquin, and Sacramento Counties.

I want to shout out for Safeguard Pest Control TOTALLY ROCK!!! They are kind, patience, understanding, Honest ,straight forward, type of Folks. You will receive the Best customer Service from this company even in 114 degree weather, With attitudes cranky and frustrations on my part. They will work with us the customer to find and fix the bug Problem. They actually make an effort of Caring and going the extra bit it takes to solve the mystery of where are the bugs hiding now.. Excellent Service… thank you so much Safeguard pest control team.. PS yes we have them on a contract, yes they will come out as often as needed no extra charge to fix the bug problem. Again no extra charge it’s good to be here face to face to talk and show them the concerns. I learned communication and showing is a lot better then just explaining over the phone. Know the problem they can use the right chemical for the issue. All it is communication and working as a team.. again very glad we have them for our pest needs and our service guy is Pet friendly.
